Learning Difficulties Support

Our dyslexia assessments and therapy programs use the Start Griffin Dyslexia Assessment Tool for children from Grade R to Grade 12. Assessments identify specific learning difficulties in reading, spelling, comprehension, and study skills. A comprehensive report is provided, including recommendations for classroom strategies, home support, and, where applicable, concession applications for standardized testing.
Therapy sessions are individually tailored to strengthen reading, spelling, comprehension, and organizational skills. We use evidence-based interventions that build confidence, improve literacy skills, and address specific challenges identified in the assessment. Sessions are interactive, structured, and designed to make learning engaging and motivating for the child.

Parents and teachers are included in the therapy process to ensure consistency and reinforcement of skills outside the therapy setting. Early intervention can prevent academic frustration, enhance self-esteem, and support long-term success in school and daily life.
